Welcome to the CSW World Conference 2024—an event I've eagerly anticipated for years. Despite training under several great instructors, including Sensei Paulson, this was my first time experiencing such an incredible gathering with these extraordinary Instructors in one place, and it was truly transformative.

Picture four intense days filled with expertise from the likes of Master Rigan Machado, Coach Fergus McTeggart, Professor Nicholas Saignac, Arjarn Greg Nelson, and Sensei Erik Paulson. Each day began with a session led by a guest instructor followed by another dynamic session with Arjarn Greg and Sensei Paulson. Professor Machado kicked off with insightful guard retention drills, followed by transitional movements and finishing techniques—I caught up on these through Sensei Paulson's invaluable online recordings.

Coach McTeggart's session on Wrestling defense and takedowns was enlightening, blending simplicity with profound effectiveness. Professor Saignac, whom I've followed for years, showcased his expertise in Savate, effortlessly demonstrating how practice can turn intricate techniques into second nature.

The grand finale with Sensei Paulson and Arjarn Greg Nelson was a highlight, diving deep into catch wrestling techniques—takedowns, submissions, and reversals—that left us all eager for more knowledge.

Beyond the skills learned, what truly resonated was the vibrant community spirit. Meeting fellow enthusiasts, reconnecting with old friends, and soaking in the positive energy that filled each session made this event unforgettable.
