FOUNDATIONS

TRAINING LIBRARY

The Foundations section is the starting point for the KCMA members area. These lessons are designed to support what we train in class by giving students a place to review the core mechanics, concepts, and progressions behind each program.

Each section focuses on the fundamentals that everything else is built from — stance, movement, structure, timing, control, defense, and practical application.

Whether you are brand new or reviewing material you have trained before, use this area to sharpen your understanding and stay connected to the curriculum.

TRAINING TIPS

When training this material first focus on quality over speed. Stay relaxed and controlled.Pay attention to your footwork and balance.

Train with intention, not just repetition. Start with Foundations and build your base. As you improve, begin linking techniques

together and applying them in drills and live training.
